Add or Remove Labels
Labels are keywords or tags that you can define to easily identify and classify the appliances. Labels provide flexibility for search and filter options to assemble multiple systems into logical groups.
Note:
You can add or remove labels to and from the appliances only if you are a team member with an Administrator or a Standard user role within that team. The labels you add will be visible to all members of your direct teams with which the appliances are registered.
To add labels:
Select one or more records from the list and click Add Labels from the options appearing at the top of the list. The Add Labels dialog appears.
Then provide label names and press Enter or Return key to add them to the Add New list. Note that the labels are case-insensitive, and do not allow spaces. If any of the selected appliances already have any labels associated, those will be populated in the Existing Labels section.
Review the data and click Save to add and associate the new labels to all selected appliances.
To remove labels:
Select one or more appliances and click Remove Labels from the kebab menu (vertical dots icon) appearing at the top of the list. The Remove Labels dialog appears that lists all the labels applied to selected appliances.
Click the close icon for the labels that you want to disassociate from all selected appliances. They will be listed in the Remove Selected section.
Review the data and click Save to remove the selected labels.
Adding and removing labels can also be achieved from the individual appliance dashboards.
Refer to the Labels section in the Appliance Dashboard chapter.
