Adding a new site
Any user with Administrative rights in the associated team can add new site during or after the registering process.
Only the Site Address is a mandatory section that must be completed before proceeding with the appliance registration.
You can edit the Site name and address even after the site is associated with the appliance on the Register Appliance page.
To add a new site:
On the Select Site dialog, click the Site Name drop-down and click Add a New Site. This opens the interface where you can specify all the details pertinent to the site creation.
There are five expandable sections for site address, on-site contacts, site details etc.
Provide the information for them as follows:
Site Address: Provide a unique site name, and a detailed address. Note that the Site Address details can not be edited after the appliance is registered. You can click Add after this point if you plan to provide the pending site details later from the Manage Sites menu.
On-Site Contacts: This section holds the contact details of the on-site personnel, if any. Provide the valid information in all the fields including the full name, Email address, time of availability etc.
Site Details: This section contains the details that can help a site engineer who might be visiting the premises, to be well-prepared and easily navigate to the appliance location. You can choose to provide all or partial information at this point.
Site Security requirements: This section contains the information that is useful to ensure compliance with the security and authorization protocols to be followed for the on-site service call. There are two conditional checks that ask for further inputs, if Yes is selected for them.
Clearance required by support engineer: If selected Yes, you can specify one or more types of identifying information that the engineer would be expected to present upon arrival. It could be the engineer's name, contact number, Email ID, identity proof etc., or any other type of clearance.
Pre-arrival notification required for access: If selected Yes, specify the notice time, which is the time prior to the on-site visit when a notification should be sent to the specified contacts, if any.
Additional Comments: This is a free-text field where you can provide additional instructions or comments.
After providing the site details, click Add to finish creating the new site. Then you will be redirected to the previous page, Select Site.
