Site Health Summary
The Site Health Summary is an interactive global map that provides a visual location of each site as to where the appliances are physically deployed. If you click on any appliance, you'll be directed to the filtered Appliance list.
Each dot has the following two properties:
Diametric size: Represents the number of appliances deployed in that site. The larger the dot, the larger the installation relative to its peer locations elsewhere on the map.
Color: Represents the state of health of any appliance deployed in each site, relative to the system's System Reliability Score (SRS).
For example, if there are 10 systems, 9 of which are healthy (green), and one is in high risk health (red), that site's dot will indicate red.
Color legend for site health:
Color | Health status |
---|---|
Green | Healthy |
Yellow | Warning (some non-critical issues) |
Red | High-risk (requires immediate action) |
Gray | Critical (typically associated with a support entitlement or call home issue) |
Black | Not enough data |
Hover a mouse over a dot to view the details like, city, country, and the count of systems in each health status.
Use the zoom in and zoom out buttons (or the scroll function on a mouse) on the map to focus on specific areas.
You can also click-and-drag within the map to move it in a particular direction to focus on a specific region.
Click on the map to open the appliance list view for the account.
The pop-over in the following map shows the details for a relatively large site indicated in Gray color, which has most of the appliances in 'Not Enough Data' state.
There are also some appliances in - Good, Okay, and Poor states, and no appliances are in the data restricted mode. The overall health status of the site is marked as Critical, in gray color.
This should prompt the investigation into the reasons for inadequate site health, which can be aided by reviewing the data provided in the Recommendations and the Unresolved Events tabs.
Refer to Recommendations tab and Unresolved Events tab sections.
