Recommendations

The Recommendations tab is a wholesome visualization of an appliance's overall health depicted by the composite SRS scores, penalties incurred to the SRS, past SRS trend; concluded by the recommended actions to improve the SRS.

For a clustered system, the aggregate data is displayed for all the nodes within the cluster.

Click the Recommendations tab on the appliance dashboard.

The list can be filtered on the severity - Critical, Risk, Warning, and Information.

The Recommendations tab is divided into three sections:

  1. System reliability Score (SRS): The donut chart in the SRS sections reflects the details of penalties incurred that affect the aggregate SRS score. You can expand the penalty types to view the details.

    You can also export the data in Excel format by clicking Export in the kebab menu on the tile, or click Copy Link to Clipboard to share or open the link in a new tab.

    Refer to How the SRS is calculated to understand what each of the penalties mean and how they affect the aggregate SRS.

  2. SRS 30 Day Trend: The line graph in this tile represents how the SRS scores fluctuated for an appliance over the past 30 days.

  3. Detailed Insights: This section lists the details of problems observed on the systems that negatively impact the SRS, and the recommendations to remediate the problems and improve the SRS. There are two sub sections, Recommended Actions and Node Specific SRS score.

    In the Recommended Actions the appliances are listed in Critical, Risk, Warning, and Information categories. You can filter the list by Category, Component, Status and Time frame.

    In the Node Specific SRS score tab, you can see all the information about individual node.

    You can perform the following actions on the Recommended Actions list:

    • Enable or disable the Show acknowledged recommendations in the table option to manage whether or not the acknowledged recommendations should be displayed in the list. Disabling this option excludes the acknowledged recommendations from the exported list as well.

      Refer to Acknowledging the recommendations section in the My Multi-systems Dashboard chapter.

    • Click Export at the top of the list to export the recommendations data.

    • Search for the recommendations using the UID, severity, category/component etc.

    • Hover over the Problem Description and the Recommendation columns of a record to view them in detail.

    • You will be able to acknowledge recommendations in Bulk. For doing that, select recommendations and click Acknowledge.
