Copies dialog
The Copies dialog lets you view the following information about database copies.
Table: Copies dialog
Item | Description |
---|---|
Database Copy (Date and Time) | Displays the date and time that the database copy was created. Database copies are created when you ingest a database source. See Ingesting an Oracle database into Velocity for the first time. |
Copy Size | Displays the size of the database copy. Velocity calculates the size of the database copy by the amount of data that was ingested. |
Copy Preparation Date | Displays the date and time that a copy of a database copy with prepared data was created. |
Sandboxes Created | Displays the number of sandboxes that were created from the database copy. You can create sandboxes from any database copies. |
Expiration Date | Displays the date and time that the retention period ends. The expired database copy is automatically deleted from the Velocity Storage Server. |
Status | Displays the status of the database copies. The status lets you know if the database copy is available for use in sandbox creation. |
Delete | Deletes the database copy. You can delete database copies if you no longer need them. After you delete a database copy, you cannot use it to create a new sandbox. However, the database copy is still available for use in any sandboxes in which it already existed. |
