Finding your sandbox
You can view the sandbox details to get the information that you need to access the database instance.
Refer to your database documentation for information on the required privileges for starting a database.
To find your sandbox
- From the Velocity Cloud Console, in the left pane, do one of the following:
Click Home.
Click Sandboxes.
- Click Details on the row that contains the sandbox, and then view the following information for the sandbox:
Host or Node Hosts
Displays the name of the host server where this sandbox is located, or displays the name of the nodes if the sandbox is located in a RAC environment.
Path
Displays the path of this sandbox on the host server.
Database Name
Displays the name of the database that you have set up from this sandbox.
NFS Mount Path
Displays the path on the Oracle host server where the NFS share is mounted.
- Navigate to the sandbox path on the host server, and access the database copy.
