Changing the nickname or description of a database source

When a database source is added, a nickname and a description can be added to help users identify the database. Velocity users who have the role of Velocity administrator or database administrator can change the nickname and the description of a database source.

To change the nickname or the description of a database source

From the Velocity Cloud Console, in the left pane, click Database Sources.
Select the row that the database appears on, and then click Details.
Click Edit.
Type the new nickname or description.
Click Save.
