NFS export path is not created during a database ingestion

Issue

During a database ingestion, an NFS export path may not be created. The following error may appear:

ORA-27054: NFS file system where the file is created or resides is not mounted with correct options.

This error is caused by an Oracle bug. See to Oracle Doc ID 387700.1 for details.

Solution

The Oracle-recommended workaround is to use the Event 10298.

Type the following command to set the Event 10298 in the init file:

alter system set event= '10298 trace name context forever, level32';

or to have the command take place at the next startup without affecting the current instance, type the following command:

alter system set event='10298 trace name context forever, level32' scope=spfile;'
