Changing the retention date for a database copy

You can edit the retention date to keep an individual database copy for a longer or shorter amount of time than is set in the default retention period.

Note:

The earliest time that you can delete the database copy is at least one hour later than the current time.

To change the retention date for a database copy

From the Velocity Cloud Console, in the left pane, click Database Sources.
Select the row that the database copy appears on, and then click Details.
Click Copies.
Select the row that the database copy appears on, click More, and then select Retention.
Change the date and time to delete the database copy.
Click Set Retention.
