Which agents should I use?
The information in the table enables you to decide which agent to use depending on the resource you want to make highly available.

Resource to Make Highly Available | Agents to Use |
---|---|
Manage disks and volumes. | In case of SFW, use VMDg and MountV. In case of LDM, use DiskRes and Mount. In case of a disaster recovery environment, use VVRSnap agent. In case vMotion and VMware Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) need to be enabled in VCS clusters configured and deployed on virtual machines in VMware environment, use the VMwareDisks, VMNSDg, and NativeDisks agents. In case of a NetApp storage environment, use NetAppFiler and NetAppSnapDrive. In case you want to monitor replication state of filer devices, use NetApp SnapMirror. |
