DESCRIPTION
Use this command to manage services on a host. You must specify the name of the service.
OPTIONS
- Service Disable ServiceName
Use this command to disable the nfs, nmb, or the smb service.
For security reasons, if you disable any of these services, they remain disabled even after the host is rebooted or upgraded.
- Service Enable ServiceName
Use this command to enable the nfs, nmb, or the smb service.
- Service Restart ServiceName
Use this command to restart a service on the appliance, where ServiceName is the name of the service that you want to restart. For example, network, nfs, nmb, or smb.
- Service Show
Use this command to show the current status of the nfs, nmb, and smb services.
- Service Stop ServiceName
Use this command to stop the nfs, nmb, or the smb service.
