SYNOPSIS
Collect
DESCRIPTION
Use this command to collect detailed information of your appliance manually and transmit to Veritas.
OPTIONS
- Collect Config
Use this command to collect configuration information about the appliance components and transmit it to the Veritas AutoSupport server.
- Collect Inventory
Use this command to collect all component-specific metadata including model information, serial number, etc. and transmit to Veritas.
EXAMPLES
The following status messages appear after you run the Collect Config command:
[Info] Collecting configuration data. This process may take several minutes. [Info] V-475-4-30000: Configuration data collection completed. Transmitting this data to the Veritas AutoSupport server may take up to 30 seconds.
The following status message appears after you run the Collect Inventory command:
abc123.Support> Collect Inventory Collecting inventory data. The data collecting process may take several minutes. Inventory collection completed. It may take 10 to 30 seconds to transmit the data to Veritas.
