Main > Support > System — Used to manage the maintenance shell and authorize access to Veritas support personnel.

DESCRIPTION
The Main_Menu > Support > System menu is enabled when the security level of an appliance is configured to High. Use the commands in this menu to enable or disable the maintenance shell and authorize access to Veritas support personnel.

OPTIONS
- Generate-otp
Use this command to generate a ten digit one-time password (OTP). The OTP can be shared with Veritas support personnel to allow access to the maintenance shell.
- Show-otp
Use this command to view the currently active OTP.
- Unlock
Veritas support personnel use this command to enable the maintenance shell.
- Lock
Use this command to disable the maintenance shell.
