nbdbms_start_server — start and stop database server
SYNOPSIS
-stop [-f]
The directory path to this command is /usr/openv/db/bin/
DESCRIPTION
This command operates only on UNIX systems.
The NetBackup Scale-Out Relational Database runs as a daemon on UNIX that starts or stops by using a script. If you initiate the program without any argument, the server starts.
OPTIONS
- -stop
Causes the server to shut down.
- -f
Causes a forced shutdown of the server irrespective of active connections. This option is only applicable when used with the -stop option.
