Installing the baseline package
The baseline release, also known as the General Availability (GA) release, or the maintenance release (MR) packages for Arctera InfoScale Operations Manager managed hosts can be installed using the License Management Service console. You must first download the packages from the Arctera Download center and then install the same on a host using the License Management Service console.
Note:
If License Management Service is installed on a host that already has InfoScale Operations Manager, then package installation operations of the managed host are blocked on the License Management Service console. You must use InfoScale Operations Manager console to perform the operation.
To install the baseline package
- On the License Management Service console, click Software upgrades in the left pane, and click Baseline packages tab.
- Click the Actions menu (three vertical dots) in the same row of the package, and click Install.
- In the Install package panel, the list of eligible hosts is displayed on which the selected package can be installed.
- Select the required hosts and click Install.
- Click Activity monitor in the left pane to view the progress of the task.
