About License Analytics Service
License Analytics Service (LAS) is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) portal that plays an integral part in helping you manage your InfoScale product usage and license entitlements using License Management Service (LMS).
LAS provides the following functionality:
License entitlement file download: The license entitlement file is a Arctera-owned license information file that includes the various license types and applicable entitlements. The entitlement file is hosted in LAS and you can log on to the portal to download the file. Once you have the file, you will then have to import that file in to your LMS deployment.
License meter file download: The license meter file includes the Core Plus licensing requirements that are calculated based on the physical core count of the server CPU and the processor coefficient performance rating. The license meter file is hosted in LAS and you can log on to the LAS portal to download the file. Once you have the file, you will then have to import that file in to your LMS deployment.
Usage report upload: Your LMS deployment is able to scan your InfoScale environment and generate a consolidated report of all the product usage and licensing details. Once this report is generated from LMS, you can log on to the LAS portal and upload the report into LAS to share it with Arctera.
