Viewing the activity monitor
has two tabs, and .
The on-going status of all tasks that are performed on the hosts or the containers, for example, adding, removing, refreshing etc. are shown in the Tasks tab. Some operations take longer to complete. To view the status of such operations, use the Tasks tab.
You can perform the following operations in the task list.
Search for the status of a particular task.
Refresh the list.
Filter the list on required parameters.
Use the
to add or remove columns in the displayed table as per convenience.
The Audit logs tab gathers information about all the tasks that are performed on the License Management Service console. Tasks such as logging on, generating reports, adding users etc. Every single task or activity that is done on the License Management Service console is recorded in the logs. In addition to searching, refreshing, filtering, and using the , you can also export the log file. The log file is saved in a comma-separated (CSV) file format on the local folder.
To view the Tasks or Audit logs
- On the License Management Service console, click Activity Monitor in the left pane.
- Click Tasks to view the task details.
- Click Audit logs to view the activity logs.
- Click Audit logs > Export to download the activity logs data in a CSV file format on the local folder.
