Showing or hiding the sidebar and favorites list

The sidebar displays your favorites list, the recent actions that you have taken, and the archives to which you have access.

To show or hide the sidebar and favorites list

  1. Click your user name or the down arrow at the top right of Enterprise Vault Search.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. At the left of the Preferences dialog box, click General.

    The sidebar options appear.

  4. Select or clear Show Sidebar.
  5. Select or clear Show Favorites.

To show or hide the sidebar using the Actions button

  1. Click the Actions button at the top right of Enterprise Vault Search.

  2. In the drop-down list, click Show Sidebar or Hide Sidebar.
