Configuring proxy settings

You can configure proxy settings when installing the Agent or at a later time.

To configure proxy settings after Agent installation

  1. On the Agent server, logon with Administrator credentials.
  2. Open the command, navigate to the installation directory: C:\Program Files\Veritas\InformationMapAgent\bin.
  3. Run the following command:
    connector_config.exe proxy_settings
  4. You will be prompted to enter the host name of the proxy server, port on which the proxy listens, and optionally, the username and password to authenticate to the proxy server.
  5. Select 1 or 2 to identify the proxy access authentication type.
  6. Press Enter to save the settings.
  7. To review the proxy settings, run the command:
    connector_config.exe proxy_settings display

To reset the proxy settings, run the command:

    connector_config.exe proxy_settings reset

If proxy settings are configured, the Agent uses the proxy server for all communication with the Information Map technology platform.
