Specifying the Exchange server and mailbox

If you have access to multiple Exchange mail servers and mailboxes, or if you cannot access a mailbox, you might have to specify them when you copy or move items from an archive. If the Exchange Server and mailbox are not specified, you cannot restore content from your archives.

To specify the server and mailbox

  1. Click your user name at the top right of Enterprise Vault Search.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. At the left of the Preferences dialog box, click Exchange Account.

    The Exchange Account options appear.

  4. In the Microsoft Exchange Server field, enter the mailbox server details.
  5. In the Mailbox field, enter the mailbox where you want to copy or move restored items.

    You can use Check Name to search for mailboxes by name.
