About Enterprise Vault Search

You can run Enterprise Vault Search on a desktop or a tablet for a quick and easy access to the contents of your archives. You can do the following:

  • Search.

  • Browse.

  • View items and their attachments.

  • Save frequently-used folders and search queries in a favorites list for quick access.

  • Download and save items from the archives to locations of your choice.

Depending on how your administrator has set up Enterprise Vault Search, you may also be able to do the following:

  • Copy and move items between archives.

  • Restore items.

  • Delete items from the archives.

  • Export archived items to a .nsf, .pst, or .zip file, depending on the archive type.
