Logging on as an active directory user
To create an access and a secret key for accessing S3 buckets and objects, you need to log on to Veritas Access as an AD user.
You see a different set of screens while logged on as an AD user. S3 User displays on the left.
If an access key already exists, the access key displays. Otherwise the AD user sees an empty page.
To log on as an AD user
- Prerequisites:
You need to know the username and password for the AD user.
You need to have configured AD.
- Log on to Veritas Access as an AD user.
- Specify the AD domain name and then the user name.
Example:
domainname\\username
