Creating an NFS share without replication and encryption
You can create an NFS share without replication and encryption.
To create an NFS share without replication and encryption
- Prerequisites:
Configure storage.
Start the NFS server.
Activate a storage policy.
- Quick Actions: Go to Provision Storage > Storage for NFS > Without Replication and Encryption, and then click Continue.
- Click the Configure Storage tab and specify the storage options.
- Click the Start NFS Server tab, and then click Start NFS Server to start the NFS server.
- Click Configure Replication > Go to Replication link to set up the replication VIP on both the source and the target cluster.
- Click Set Up Replication Link.
- Click the Activate Storage Policy tab, select a policy for the NFS share, and then click Activate Policy.
- Click the Provision Storage tab, and then click Finish.
Note:
If a storage policy is not activated, you cannot provision storage for the NFS share.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
