Setting up the object server group-specific parameters
You can set default file system parameters that can be used for creating file systems for all the users in a particular group.
Creating a user group lets you do the following:
Specify that all the S3 buckets for a particular group get created on the specified pool.
Specify that all the S3 buckets for a particular group get created with the same file system size.
Specify that all the S3 buckets for a particular group get created with the same file system layout.
To set file system parameters for a group of users
- In the Settings > S3 Management for Group related parameters, click Add Group.
- Specify a name for the group.
- Specify the file system size for the group.
- Specify the file system layout.
- Specify the pools for the group.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
