Creating a policy schedule
For each file system, you can create a policy schedule. The file system policy, which may consist of multiple rules, is run at the designated time.
The same wizard is used to create, modify, or remove the policy schedule.
To configure a policy schedule
- Prerequisites:
Set up the policy using the Create Policy wizard.
- Create or modify the schedule by selecting the appropriate options:
For the schedule frequency, select one of the following:
Daily
Weekly. Specify the day of the week on which to run the schedule.
Monthly. Specify the day of the month on which to run the schedule..
For the Start time, specify the hours and minutes that represent the time of day according to a 24-hour clock.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
