Including or excluding enterprise vault archives at department-level
To include or exclude enterprise vault archives
- In the left navigation pane, click Departments.
- Search for and select the department in which you want to include or exclude archives.
- Navigate to the Archives tab to view the archives available for the selected department.
To sort archives in either ascending or descending alphabetical order, click on the Archive Name column heading.
To search an archive, in the Search field, specify the archive name characters, and click the search icon.
To filter required archives, click on the Filter icon, and do the following:
Click Reset Filters to clear all selected filters and display the default filter options.
Set the filtering options and click Apply Filters to filter the archives list.
In the Archive Type drop-down menu, select All to consider all the available archive types or select individual archive type such as Teams, ExchangeJournal, SMTPJournal, and others.
In the Selection status drop-down menu, opt for archives with the status selected, unselected, or both.
In the Archive Status drop-down menu, select All to consider all the archive or select individual archive status such as Deleted, Copied, or Moved.
To manually view archives displayed across several pages, use navigation arrows at the bottom of the pane to go to the first page, the next or previous pages, and the last page.
Upon selecting archives, the pane also displays the total number of archives selected across pages.
- On the action menu bar, click Customize to enable archives selection.
The Status column shows whether each archive has been copied, moved, or deleted as part of the Move Archive operation by the Enterprise Vault administrator.
- In the Action column, do the following:
Toggle right to include the archive in searches.
Toggle left to exclude the archive from searches.
The application displays a notification for each action.
- If needed to restore the archive selection to default, click Reset. This option is available after you click Customize to enable customization of archives.
- To manually synchronize the archives from the Enterprise Vault server, on the action menu bar, click Synchronize.
The application takes some time to synchronize the data. Click Refresh to view the updated details.
