Overview

Managing application-level review assignment allows administrators to control how review items are distributed across multiple departments, ensuring a consistent and efficient review process throughout the organization.

Unlike department-level assignments, where allocation is managed within individual departments, application-level assignment provides a centralized approach. This ensures that review distribution follows standardized workflow accross all the departments available in the application.

At the application level, administrators can define allocation by applying the following rules:

  • Keep new items unassigned for manual allocation.

    It allows the administrator to:

    • Manually assign items to reviewers later based on their availability, workload, task priorities, or reviewer expertise.

    • Prevent automatic distribution when the allocation strategy needs to be adjusted.

    • Validate relevance of items before assigning them to reviewers.

    • Avoid disrupting ongoing reviews by introducing new items unexpectedly.

    • Retain full control over when and how review items are distributed.

  • Allocate items application wide based on the specified reviewer roles.

    By managing review item assignments at the application level, organizations can streamline large-scale reviews and ensure items are assigned based on user roles, maintaining a consistent level of review expertise.
