Activating and setting up Arctera System Recovery after installation
After you complete Arctera System Recovery installation and restart your computer, the Arctera System Recovery setup wizard starts automatically. Using the setup wizard you can license or activate your product. You can then run Arctera Update to check for product updates, and then configure your first backup.
To complete the installation of Arctera System Recovery
- In the Welcome panel, click Next.
The Welcome page might appear the first time that you run Arctera System Recovery.
- If the Proceed with Trial version option was chosen for product activation, do one of the following:
Click I have a license.
Note:
You can find the license key by Accessing VEMS at https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100048764. You must use it when you install Arctera System Recovery.
Click Install License later to delay the activation of your license. After the trial period ends, the product will no longer work.
If Arctera System Recovery is a trial version and you want to purchase a license key, visit the following website:
If you have a Volume Incentive Program (VIP) Activation key, enter it in the appropriate spaces as it appears on your certificate.
- Click Next.
- Do any of the following:
Click Run Arctera Update to check for any product updates since the product shipped.
Click Launch Easy Setup to open the Easy Setup window when you complete the install process. (This option is not available in the server versions of Arctera System Recovery.)
- Click Finish.
