About S3-Compatible Cloud Storage
Arctera System Recovery provides the S3-compatible cloud storage feature. You can use the Cloud Instance Creator utility to create an instance for the S3-compatible provider.
Arctera System Recovery supports only signature Version 2 for the S3-compatible cloud storage.
The created cloud instance can access S3 compatible cloud environments. S3 compatible communications have not been tested in all cloud environments and may not work in some cases.
Note:
Create the Arctera System Recovery Disk/LightsOut Restore after adding the generic cloud instances if you want to use S3-Compatible cloud storage from Arctera System Recovery Disk/LightsOut Restore environment.
See Using S3-Compatible Cloud Storage in Arctera System Recovery .
