Adding a secondary tier
Add a secondary tier to move aged data to secondary storage.
To add a secondary tier
- In the File Systems tab, select the file system for which you want to add the secondary tier.
- Select the Storage tab, and select the Add Secondary Tier button.
- Specify the tier size.
- Specify the layout.
- Select the storage pool for storing your on-premises data.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
