Activating long-term data retention policies
To activate a long-term data retention policy
- Prerequisites:
Create a storage pool for the policy.
For the LRT On-Premises + Cloud policy, you must have registered a cloud service.
- Click Activate for one of following policy:
LTR On-Premises + Cloud
LTR On-Premises
- Select the storage pool that you want to associate with the policy.
- Select the cloud subscription if you selected the LTR On-Premises + Cloud policy.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
To deactivate a long-term data retention policy
- Prerequisites:
Activate the selected long-term data retention policy.
- Click Deactivate for the desired policy.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
