Explanation: Unable to fetch the datacenter from the Cassandra cluster. The possible causes include the following:
The datacenter entry is not in the application configuration file.
The correct data center is not in the
cassandra.conf
file.The Cassandra Username or Password is invalid.
The cluster node is down.
The firewall on the cluster nodes port is not open.
Recommended Action: Perform the following as appropriate:
Verify that the correct data center entry is in the
cassandra.conf
in the production cluster.Verify the Cassandra Username and Password on the production cluster are correct.
Verify that the node status of Cassandra cluster is up and in a normal state.
Verify that the firewall settings on the cluster nodes are correct. Port 7000/9042 should be open.
