NetBackup status code: 7295
Explanation: VxUpdate has determined that should the upgrade proceed, the host is unable to communicate with the master server afterwards. This determination is based on NetBackup security requirements from the following:
The existing and the destination release versions.
The state of security configuration already on the host.
The Security-related specifications that are supplied to the VxUpdate operation.
Recommended Action: Review the NetBackup Security and Encryption Guide for details on how to configure secure communication in the latest NetBackup releases. Some security modes can be configured using VxUpdate. Other security modes require action outside of VxUpdate.
In cases where you want to force VxUpdate to proceed with the upgrade anyway, use bpsetconfig or other utilities to add the IGNORE_VXUPDATE_PREUPGRADE_COMMUNICATION_CHECK value to the NetBackup configuration of the target host. Set this value to 1. The next VxUpdate operation reports the post-upgrade communication concern, but proceeds with the upgrade. Using this method is not without risk and may cause multiple issues with your installation.
