About using reports
In the License Management Service web console, you can generate the following reports:

Report name | Description |
---|---|
Host license usage | Provides information on host and license unit requirements. |
Manage Kubernetes hosts license usage | Provides information on container hosts and license unit requirements. |
Entitlements | Includes all active, about to expire, and expired entitlements. |
License reconciliation | Includes a comparison of entitlements versus usage of attached hosts. |
Host deployment details | Provides details about host deployment distribution based on platform and entitlement type. |
Usage report and summary | Provides details about reconciliation and license usage summary in three tabs: Primary usage, Not assigned, Unmanaged. |
After generating a report, you can perform the following tasks:
Save the report as a comma-separated (CSV) file.
Email the report in HTML format or as a CSV file. Ensure that the SMTP configuration is complete.
Refresh the report data without having to regenerate the report.
Filter the report on customized parameters.

To generate a report
- On the License Management Service console, click Reports in the left pane.
- Click Generate to build the report.
To save a report
- On the License Management Service console, click Reports in the left pane.
- Click Generate in the report box.
- Click Actions > Save as CSV. The report is saved in the local folder.
To email a report
- On the License Management Service console, click Reports in the left pane.
- Click Generate in the report box.
- Click Actions > Mail.
- Select the output format, HTML or CSV.
- Enter the receivers email ID, click Mail.
You can enter only one email ID at a time.
