Verify the License Management Service installation on a Linux host by ensuring that the packages are installed and the required processes are started.

To verify License Management Service installation on Linux

  1. On the host where you installed License Management Service, check whether the VRTSlms package is installed. Run the following command:

    rpm -q VRTSlms

  2. Check whether the VRTSsfmh package is installed. Run the following command:

    rpm -q VRTSsfmh

  3. Check whether the xprtld process is started. Run the following command:

    ps -ef | grep xprtld
