Increasing storage for Veritas Data Deduplication
You can increase storage for Veritas Data Deduplication.
To increase storage for Veritas Data Deduplication
- Click on Veritas Data Deduplication page after expanding Provisioned storage option present on the left navigation bar.
- Click on the kebab menu for the instance on which you want to perform the grow operation and click Grow .
The Grow Veritas Data Deduplication Storage dialog box is displayed.
- Specify the storage options for Veritas Data Deduplication and confirm the settings.
When you grow a Veritas Data Deduplication storage pool, you need to use five disks or volumes. You add disks or volumes in multiples of five.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
Note:
Reducing the storage for Vertias Data Deduplication is not supported using GUI. You can reduce storage for Veritas Data Deduplication using CLISH.
