Content | String value containing list of file types. The list format is: .filetype[.filetype]. Each file type must be prefixed by a period and the list ending with a period. For example: .DOC.XLS. From Enterprise Vault 6.0, all file types can be converted to text by using the * wildcard character. For example, value of .*. converts all file types to text. |
Description | By default, when an item is archived, Enterprise Vault attempts to convert the item to HTML. If this fails, Enterprise Vault then attempts to convert the item to text. This setting overrides the default behavior and always converts items of the configured file types to text without attempting conversion to HTML. This setting may be useful for some file types which cause the following conversion issues:
This value is supported as a local server override of the site setting, . The site setting should be used to ensure a consistent content conversion configuration for all Enterprise Vault Storage servers in the site.Restart the local Storage service to apply changes to the registry value. |
