Description

Controls whether or not the local Storage service performs content conversions when archiving items. Turning off content conversions speeds up archiving, but means that users cannot view, or search the content of items using Enterprise Vault Search.

If the value is not 0 (zero), then the all file types wildcard, "*", is added to the value of the registry setting, ExcludedFileTypesFromConversion, on the local Enterprise Vault server.

Restart the Storage service to apply changes.

This value is supported as a local server override of the site setting, File types excluded from conversion. The site setting should be used to ensure a consistent content conversion configuration for all Enterprise Vault Storage servers in the site.
