Stopping Backup Exec services

Stop Services lets you stop Backup Exec services remotely on any Backup Exec server that appears in the Backup Exec Utility.

To stop Backup Exec services on a Backup Exec server

  1. Select a Backup Exec server from either a Backup Exec server group or from All Backup Exec Servers.
  2. In the task pane, under Services Tasks, click Stop Services.
  3. Click Yes to confirm the stop services operation.
  4. After the services stop, click Close.
