Compacting a Backup Exec Database

Compact Database lets you shrink the database by removing a database's unused space.

To compact a Backup Exec Database

  1. Select a Backup Exec server from either a Backup Exec server group or from All Backup Exec Servers.
  2. In the task pane, under Database Tasks, click Compact Database.
  3. After the operation finishes, click Close.
