Deleting a Backup Exec server from the Backup Exec Utility list of known Backup Exec servers
Delete Backup Exec server lets you remove Backup Exec servers from the Backup Exec Utility list of known servers. Backup Exec servers that are on the list appear in All Backup Exec Servers. Deleting a Backup Exec server from All Backup Exec Servers does not affect the operational status of the Backup Exec server.
You cannot use Delete Backup Exec Server to remove Backup Exec servers from Backup Exec Server Groups.
To delete a Backup Exec server from the Backup Exec Utility list of known Backup Exec servers
- In the Computers pane, click All Backup Exec Servers.
- In the task pane, under General Tasks, click Delete Backup Exec Server.
- Select a Backup Exec server to delete.
