Moving an existing Backup Exec server

Backup Exec Server Migration Assistant lets you move an existing Backup Exec server to a different computer.

To move an existing Backup Exec server

  1. Select a Backup Exec server from either a Backup Exec server group or from All Backup Exec Servers.
  2. In the task pane, under Services Tasks, click Backup Exec Server Migration Assistant.
  3. Follow the instructions that are provided in the document that appears.
