Support for TLS 1.3 protocol
Starting with this release, NetBackup supports the TLS 1.3 protocol by default for secure communication workflows as follows:
Secure proxy
Data-in-transit encryption (DTE)
External KMS servers
AD/LDAP servers
MSDP
HTTPS communication using cURL
Starting with this release, external CA-issued X509 certificates using SHA1 are no longer supported with NetBackup. Before a NetBackup upgrade, update all external CA-issued certificates that are used in NetBackup to the SHA-256 signed certificates or to the stronger signature algorithms.
