Changes to the dashboard in the NetBackup web UI

The NetBackup web UI includes changes to the appearance and functionality of the Dashboard in the NetBackup web UI.

  • The dashboard displays NetBackup environment details in doughnut charts so you can visually assess the status of jobs, certificates, and tokens in the environment.

  • Specific information for jobs, certificates, and tokens is now clickable. Click on a link and you see a filtered view with only the items that meet that criteria. For example, you can click on a link to view Active jobs for the timeframe that you selected or to view Expired certificates. The dashboard now includes links in the certificates and the tokens widgets that send you to those respective pages and use the existing filtering capabilities on those pages.

  • For job information, when you click on a link on the Dashboard NetBackup opens the Jobs list and creates a temporary filter for those jobs on the Jobs tab. See the NetBackup Web UI Administrator's Guide for details.

  • The timeframe that you select in a widget is persisted across sessions. For example, if you select 48 hours for the Jobs widget, that timeframe is selected the next time that you open NetBackup.
