Step-8: Add API key of the portal user used in REST API Callback to the REST HTTP method header
You need to switch between APTARE IT Analytics Portal and ServiceNow web portal to perform these steps.
Note:
Perform this procedure (Step-8) only if your APTARE IT Analytics Portal version is 10.6 P6 and above.
- Login to the APTARE IT Analytics Portal.
- From the user menu, select Create API Key and copy the key for future use.
Preferably, save the key in Notepad.
- Login to the ServiceNow web portal.
- In the Search box, enter Rest.
- Under APTARE Backup Manager, select Rest Messages and click AptareBackupIssuesCallback.
- Click the Default GET link and open the HTTP Request tab.
- Add a Authorization as a new field and set the API key saved earlier as its Value.
- Save the configuration.
