Logging on to the NetBackup Virtual Appliance Shell Menu
The following procedure explains how to log on to the NetBackup Virtual Appliance Shell Menu.
To log on to the NetBackup Virtual Appliance Shell Menu
- Connect to the NetBackup Virtual Appliance Shell Menu.
- Enter the user name and password for the appliance. By default, the user name admin has the password, P@ssw0rd.
Caution:
For security reasons, you should change this password after you have installed the NetBackup Virtual Appliance.
- After a successful logon, the cursor is alongside the Main_Menu prompt.
- Press the ? key to display the available commands and shell views.
