Creating a CloudLink service account for an Exchange environment
CloudLink requires a Windows service account for the ArchiveTools CloudLink Server service to run under. CloudLink uses this account to access Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
To create a CloudLink service account for an Exchange environment
- Create a Windows domain user account with a non-expiring password.
- Add the account to the local Administrators group on the computer on which CloudLink is installed.
- Add the account to the Domain Admins group.
- As part of configuring your Exchange servers for CloudLink you must assign the required permissions for the CloudLink service account.
