Adding or removing storage licenses

Perform the following steps to manage NetBackup Flex Scale storage licenses in your cluster using the infrastructure management console UI.

To manage storage licenses

  1. Sign in to the NetBackup Flex Scale infrastructure management console UI.

See About the NetBackup Flex Scale management console.

  2. From the navigation menu on the left, click Settings and then click Licensing.

The Storage Licenses tab displays all the licenses that currently exist in the cluster configuration.

  3. To add a new storage license, click Add License and then on the Add storage license dialog, click Choose file and browse and select a license file.

Alternatively, you can also drag and drop the license file directly on the Add storage license dialog to add the license file.

  4. Click Add to configure the license into the cluster.

The Storage Licenses tab displays the details such as the license type, the expiration date, and the current status of the license that you added.

  5. To remove a particular storage license, in the license row, click on the vertical ellipsis button on the right side of the UI and then select Delete.
  6. On the Delete storage license dialog box, click Delete to confirm the license deletion from the cluster.
  7. Once the operation completes, verify that the license you removed does not appear in the list of licenses displayed on the Storage Licenses tab.
