Editing network credentials for a recovery point destination
You can change an existing recovery point destination's network credentials for a network share, OpenStorage, FTP, or ESX path. The change takes effect when the existing connection on the client computer is closed (usually by restarting).
You cannot edit the destination to a local, network share, OpenStorage, FTP, or Linux path. Instead, you must create a new destination.
See About managing recovery point destinations.
See Creating default recovery point destinations.
To edit network credentials for a recovery point destination
- On the Veritas System Recovery 18 Management Solution Manage Tasks tab, expand the Destinations area in the left pane.
- In the left pane, click the Destinations tree.
- In the table, in the middle pane, select a network share, OpenStorage, FTP, or ESX path with network credentials you want to edit.
- On the toolbar in the middle pane, click Edit.
You cannot edit the destination to a local, network share, OpenStorage, FTP, or Linux path. Instead, you must create a new destination.
