Failing over or failing back a replication job for VFR
To failover or failback a replication job for Veritas File Replicator (VFR)
- Prerequisites:
Configure at least one storage pool.
Set up a replication virtual IP address.
Set up a replication link.
For file system replication, create a collection of all the directories and all the files that need to be replicated within a file system into a replication unit.
Select a replication link and schedule the replication job to be replicated at specific intervals or sync it on demand.
- Go to File Systems > Replication.
- In the Job Operations list, click Failover Job or Failback Job.
- Follow the wizard prompts.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
